Deadrise 19, built winter 2005

The Deadrise 19 is a design by Tracy O'Brien, built for use in Buzzard's Bay. Principal dimensions are:
LOA - 19' 0"
Beam - 7' 5"
Draft - 9"
Finished weight, including motor, gear, fuel - 1380 lbs.

Materials used include:
Bottom - 1/2" Meranti marine ply
Topsides - 3/8" Okoume marine ply, Lloyds approved
Self-bailing deck - 1/2" Okoume marine ply, 6 oz. f/g cloth
Exterior sheathing - 10 oz. f/g cloth Epoxy - I use MAS epoxy for all glueing, sheathing, and sealing applications. Side decks - 3/4" Spanish Cedar strip plank Paint - Pettit Easypoxy Motor - the owner chose an Evinrude e-Tec , 75 HP, which pushes this boat to over 30 knots.
