15'6" Phil Bolger Diablo
This great little boat is the builder’s personal boat ,
built in 2011. Materials used include fir marine ply,
stitch and glue construction using MAS epoxy and
17oz. non woven bi-axial tape, exterior sheathed
with Dynel and epoxy, interior epoxy coated,
positive foam flotation bow and stern, rub rails
and interior open rails oiled pine, painted with
Epifanes paint interior and exterior, Pettit Hydrocoat
bottom paint, stainless steel bow cleat, carbon fiber
rod holders, bronze oarlocks, Evercoat latex non-skid
on interior bottom. Options include storage in
middle and stern thwarts, removable grab pole,
custom full winter cover with frame.
Engine is a 1984Evinrude 15 HP 2- stroke, gas
tank and steering extension included.
LOA - 15’6”, Beam - 5’, Draft about 4”.
This boat will do about 20 knots on a good day,
with one person aboard. It handles rough water

Here's a beautiful rendition of Pete Culler's little Wherry Yawl, built By Lowell Brundage in Provincetown, MA. Lowell has studied at the WoodenBoat School with Geoff Burke, and others, for about 20 years. He mostly builds traditional lapstrake, and has done a great job here. The boat has many Culler touches, including the paint details, natural crook knees, beading, etc. Lowell has built the boat, spars, sail, sailing gear, and rigging. The only thing he didn't build were the oars, which will be Shaw & Tenney.Spec's are :
